Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

PTA stands for Parent-Teacher Association. The National PTA is the largest and oldest non-profit, all-volunteer child advocacy organization working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth. Our PTA’s mission is threefold: to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise, protect and prepare their children, and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this state. Some of the ways we accomplish this at Oldsmar Elementary are by coordinating and financially supporting advocacy programs, teachers’ programs including books, field trips, instructional material and student recognition, and family activities that encourage family togetherness.
